Whether you are looking for your 100-hour maintenance service or want a different tune to match your riding style, we’re confident that we can help you get every last bit of performance out or your RockShox suspension and Reverb dropper post. Check out our service options below and submit a work order.


RockShox Fork

Full Rebuild Service
Full rebuild service should take place every 100 hours of riding or once a year.

  1. Clean fork
  2. Complete visual inspection for wear
  3. Perform service:
    • Inspect and clean each component
    • Replace all of the seals
    • Fill and bleed damper where applicable
    • Continually test each aspect of the fork throughout the process
    • Reassemble and reset to customer’s original settings
    • Final test
    • Final cleaning
    • Apply baseline settings upon request

Lower Service
A lower service should take place every 50 hours of riding.

  1. Clean fork
  2. Complete visual inspection for wear
  3. Perform service:
    • Inspect and clean each component
    • Replace wipers, foam rings, crush washers, and metal washers
    • New lower leg lubricating oil and Slickoleum for dust wipers
    • Reassemble
    • Final test
    • Final cleaning

Replace Crown/Steerer/Upper (CSU) Assembly
Recommended if stanchion is damaged.

  1. Clean fork
  2. Perform visual inspection for wear
  3. Record original settings
  4. perform service
    • Inspect and clean each component
    • Install spring and damper into new CSU
    • Fill and bleed damper where applicable
    • Continually test each aspect of the fork throughout the process
    • Perform lower leg service
    • Reassemble and reset to customer’s original settings
    • Final test
    • Final cleaning
    • Apply baseline settings upon request

Travel change (new air shaft installation)

  1. Clean fork
  2. Perform visual inspection for wear
  3. Record original settings
  4. Perform service:
    • Inspect and clean each component
    • Remove lower leg assembly
    • Remove old air assembly
    • Install new air shaft with Slickoleum or PM600 grease
    • Perform lower leg service
    • Reassemble and reset to customer’s original settings
    • Final test
    • Final cleaning
    • Apply baseline settings upon request


RockShox Shock

Full Rebuild Service
Every 100 hours or annually.

  1. Clean shock
  2. Complete visual inspection for wear
  3. Record original damper and air pressure or spring weight settings
  4. Perform service:
    1. Inspect and clean each component
    2. Set internal floating piston (IFP) depth
    3. Bleed shock damper
    4. Set IFP pressure
    5. Test shock damper
    6. Air shocks receive an air can service and reset to customer’s original air pressure
    7. Shock re-assembled and tested on the dyno
    8. Final cleaning
    9. Apply baseline settings upon request

Tune Air Spring or Coil Weight Change
Can also be performed during the full service.

  1. Clean shock
  2. Complete visual inspection for wear
  3. Record original air pressure or preload settings
  4. Perform service:
    • For air spring:
      • Install bottomless bands
      • Reassemble and inflate shock to appropriate pressure based on customer’s requests
    • For coil spring:
      • Swap spring
      • Reset preload
    • Final test on dyno
    • Final cleaning


RockShox Reverb

Full Rebuild Service
For the A1 or A2 a rebuild service should be performed every 100 hours of riding or once a year; for the B1 a rebuild service should be performed every 200 hours of riding or every two years.

  1. Clean Reverb
  2. Complete inspection for visible wear
  3. Perform service:
    • Complete disassembly of post
    • Clean and inspect each component
    • Replace worn components
    • Replace all seals
    • Rebuild with new Reverb oil and Slickoleum
    • Test post function
    • Bleed remote
    • Final test
    • Final Cleaning


Other Service

Remote Bleed
A remote bleed should be performed every 100 hours of riding or annually—recommended at time of full service.

  1. Complete visual inspection for wear
  2. Record original remote setting
  3. Perform service:
    • Inspect line
    • Line and remote bleed with new Reverb oil
    • Test
